day 2: phuket!

the juliana FINALLY got around to posting up the remaining photos so here are somemore from day 2 in the daytime!

waiting to be called - the point of this photo is to show you my luscious hair *flips hair*
....and i just had to cut it *dark*

said awesome seats in the boat; elevated platform, shaded and still getting the amazing view :)

suckers cough.

x

after we were dropped off at the hotel around 4 or 5pm, we lolled around in the hotel dipping pool and took turns to shower before heading out for dinner.

juliana wanted to have seafood so we went around patong beach/bangla road to look for a restaurant but somehow, they didn't really appeal to us.
we finally picked one out of sheer desperation and overwhelming hunger wtf.

garlic butter clams.

juliana's noodle dish.

we ordered clams to share and individual fried rice/noodles but long after the both of them got their food, mine still didn't come -__-"
i was feeling really bad (cos lily and juliana wouldn't eat until my dish came) and crazy pissed off when the waitress just ignored my multiple reminders aiyo *shoots self*

turns out, she didn't even put my order through.
*shoots waitress*

communicating with the locals is another challenge on its' own because they only understand basic english and sometimes it's quite hard to understand them as well.
it's best to just point and preferably don't ask questions - u will end up confusing yourself also in the end wtf.

anyway, another waiter took over and i finally got my food -__-"
the service was so bad that we were seriously considering doing a runner since we sat right next to the exit.
in the end, fear and good moral background stopped us ^^ hahaha.

after dinner, we met up with the boys and decided to shisha first before going for drinks.

touristy shot :D

everyone comes out to play at night!

the boys picked a really happening place that stood out amidst the bars and clubs.
i mean, there are possibly 100 or so bars in patong area but the one we went to, i think people who've been to phuket will definitely recognize because...

...it has really wicked tiger sculptures!
and the usual bar top dancing girls and colorful lights.

super kao long island X___x

interior.

i think it's pretty obvious that it was flippin' crowded both inside and out but despite that, we didn't have to queue to get in or buy drinks.

FUCKING AMAZEBALLS CAN?

this is probably the main reason why clubbing in asia (generally) is so much, much more fun than in perth (maybe australia?)
every table had about  30-40 people and are taken care of by 4 bartenders; naturally we all got tipsy really quickly plus people would be more inclined to spend if u didn't have to queue to buy drinks right!

in perth, by the time i'm done with drink #1 and got around to buy drink #2 i also sober liao la.
and whatever party mood would have dissipated when i'm made to queue indefinitely just to enter the club - especially in motherflippin' winter.

oh and it took me about 3 extremely kao drinks to get the buzz.
in perth, it took me about 9 wtf.

the party scene in perth is just downright depressing :*(

i have gone off tangent wtf but anyway, meet the boys!

juliana | muka | max | squished me :D

my favourite photo from the whole trip because we all look good! :D
brenda | lily | juliana | muka | max.

serious gone cases. hahahaha.

muka's ciggie.

both the boys can really dance :O
sak noel's loca people was playing and lily and i were just gawking at them while they do their thang especially when the "WHATTHEFUCK" part played. hahaha.

at about 4am, max very graciously paid for all our drinks and both of them accompanied us back to our hotel before taking another tuktuk back to theirs (they changed hotels and didn't stay opposite us anymore).

how very thoughtful and sweet of them :)

liily were stupid tipsy and stumbled into bed as soon as our room door was opened haha.
my ears were ringing and my head was spinning but i somehow managed to change into PJs and went outside to see if they managed to get a cab at that hour.
i should've figured it was no problem because in thailand, you don't hail the cabs, they hail you wtf.
