congraduations, fussier eater and eye sex.

i was honestly super excited to go for yesterday's graduation ceremony (or rather, post ceremony for canapes and drinks) because it's always, always, fun to see familiar faces again after so long.

congraduations my love(s)!

i was wearing my JC litas and got an unbelievable amount of shocked expressions the entire night!
they are about 5 or 5.5 inches but they are seriously the most comfy pair of heels ever although it sure didn't look like it.
i could run, jump and hop in them but everyone was just...lost for words. hahaha.

i was practically looking down at sophia and fellow vertically challenged friends. LOL.
sophia: babi. so tall for what *examines the height of my heels when i stuck my leg up*
B: where got. ok nia.
sophia: like wearing a ruler.

she also bellowed to her mum who was busy with the canapes (hahaha) to come over to where we were so that i could meet her properly:
sophia: ma, zhe ge shi babi.
sophia's mum: hi babi. ni shi babi A or babi B?
b: hi babi mummy! :D wo shi babi A la, wo ken ding yao di yi de.

her mum is super cool and funny! :D
she was holding sophia's bouquet of flowers for her the entire time but she unceremoniously chucked it back to her and ran away because she was asked to be in a photo, leaving sophia's hand filled with a wine glass, graduation certificates and the flowers.

actually i realised that i speak to sophia mostly in mandarin and english, the occasional malay and sometimes cantonese when we're talking about tvb dramas.
so muhibbah right! :D
i also realised i never call her 'sophia' before, much preferring to go with 'babi' (our affectionate term for each other wtf) or deng ting yi, which is her name in chinese.

LOL.

anyway, i can't help but to associate the whole thing with hogwarts wtf.
castle like buildings, check.
graduation robes with green lining (for the science faculty) resembling the slytherin house, check.
luminous black pond, check.

spent the rest of the night jump hugging people that i bumped into eg gareth, chiaming etc.

we were in a group when a couple of us had to leave so hugs were all around when lily suddenly turned to me with her arms wide open.

B: what are you doing?

she had a frozen look on her face and gave the unclaimed hug to someone else instead.
jer saw the whole thing and laughed.

today, lily (jokingly) whatsapped me saying: "sorry for the attempt to hug you yesterday. i dunno what i was thinking?"

hahahaha. we give hugs to everyone but when it comes down to jer, lily and i, we show affection by addressing each other with a "HARROW AH STUPIK!!"

convo with lily on whatsapp today:
"i don't eat risotto right?"
"errr i think u do?" *thinking why the fuck she asking me whether she likes it or not -__-*
"i mean u. hahaha" *her typing skills on her touch screen phone is nonexistent, i told her it's like using a wingdings font on the computer since it's barely understandable*
"no i don't like risotto."
"yeah i figured. so funny wan wor, u eat porridge but not risotto."
"it's different! u can't put century eggs in risotto can you."
"so you only eat century egg porridge but u don't eat the century egg in that."
"ah shaddap."
"you felt it didn't you, how stupid that sounds! haha burn!"
"this is blog worthy, watch out for my comeback!"

actually i don't like risotto because of it's texture la, not really a century egg issue haha.
risotto is so thick, gloopy and looks like baby food/ someone just threw up on a plate; porridge can be made into a more watery consistency depending on your tastebuds like how i like mine more watery and the grains to be completely dissolved.
y' know less puke looking and all.

there are quite a lot of caveats in the list of food i don't like to eat - beef is a good example.
i generally don't like beef: i don't like minced beef in bolognaise/ chilli con carne, i don't like steaks at all, same goes for stroganoff, stew, stir fry and tartare.
BUT there are some exceptions la and this only makes me more difficult than i already am wtf.
i love beef burger patties which are processed to oblivion anyway so i guess it's not quite beef wtf and my absolute favourite has got to be thinly sliced wagyu beef in steamboats.
beef ball noodles in soup are fine too but i only eat the noodles & sometimes the beef balls which are probably super processed anyway. hahaha.

i also fucking can't stand cheese but cheap mozarella on pizza, mascarpone in tiramisu and the occasional cream cheese bagel with salmon - that's all fine.
i ordered mozarella bruschetta once, thinking malaysian restaurants confirm use crap quality one (hence, no smell) so i'm sure i'll eat it.
the minute it was served and before putting two and two together, i swear i thought either somebody farted or took their shoes off and darted glances around to see if anybody else noticed.

as it turned out they used good quality cheese and i really wanted to vomit right there and then when my share was placed right in front of me.
even brother wong couldn't stomach the stench and we had to give our slices to the parentals, who for a moment, i'm sure couldn't believe we were their children because they are big time foodies and they thrive on good quality stuff - unlike their daughter who likes to eat processed food wtf.

so cheddar, feta, goat's, pecorino, ricotta, cottage, blue and the worst, parmesan, no exceptions - i hate all of them.
the smell of ALL cheese make my insides twist and turn, this i am not exaggerating.

another thing i absolutely cannot stand (no caveats) is lamb.
i don't know how people can get past the smell!
apparently the proper term is 'gamey' but dear god it smells like rotten carcass to me wtf.
i would hands down, rather smell formaldehyde preserved dead bodies.

this week has been a crazy week of assignments submission but nothing too major.
i had a 1k word essay given in the first week of uni and it was due in week 4 (current week) so i started in week 3 :D
i have done 3k, 5k and even a 10k words for a group proposal so 1k is just...a nuisance but hey, it does account for 10%.

leftover party photos awhile back from magalee!

could do with a whiskey coke right about now...

i woke up yesterday morning with a full blown case of hayfever; my eyes were watery and swollen and the sneezing fits just wouldn't stop -__-"
when i came back home, i knew i had some heyfever meds somewhere since i'm so prone to it and found 4 tablets (given by an ex in a care package along with gastric and headache meds, aww :) thanks kiat!)
thank goodness it wasn't the drowsy kind else i would have missed out on the graduation ceremony passed out at home.

eye sex is fucking awesome (haha, pun!)

eye sex is defined as "meeting eyes with someone (usually a stranger) and holding their gaze for longer than what would be considered a glance. it gives the impression that there is possible chemistry and possible connection between two people."

can't put it better myself.
bonus points for seriously sexy eyes on a seriously sexy stranger.

the multiple prolonged glances followed by a cheeky smile is so captivating ;)

this may or may not have happened to me but mmmm i love eye sex.

disclaimer: i don't anyhow go and eyesex people wan ok! the attraction must be there for both parties for it to all begin ;)

x

looking forward to some sangria tomorrow!
have an amazing weekend guys!

graduation photos are from bowie; party photos are from magalee - ripped off facebook!
