3.30am.

best date ever on sunday night :)

being one of a family friend:
"should i come in and ask your mum for permission to take you out to dinner?"
"(inside going aww) nah i told her you're bringing me out."

it was pouring like crazy and he was in the car while i wore my shoes (he was on the dot punctual too!)
"hang on! wait inside, i have an umbrella."
he made sure i was well sheltered so that i didn't get wet, and opened my door for me :*)

dinner was alfresco japanese style tapas, to the sound of pouring rain,
salad with anchovy dressing, garlic friend rice, wagyu tataki (OMG SO YUM!) & salmon sashimi <3
service, food, ambiance - triple kill.
conversation flowed effortlessly with no awkwardness,
we sat there for 3 hours just getting to know each other better :)
and managed to forget our plans to get dessert & coffee somewhere else (so that i can pay, since he secretly got the bill for dinner).

after he dropped me home, we texted for a bit and hopped on to facebook for more talking. haha.
today, i woke up to a text from him and we've been going at it for 12 hours, hands down my longest continuous conversation ever with someone & only stopping for 1.5 hours when i was in the movies.

"i'm bored. entertain me?"
"how can i be of service?"
"tell me a knock knock joke please."
"oh god. are you serious?"
"mmm."
"ok here goes nothing. knock knock."
"who's there?" (at this point i was laughing already because i couldn't believe he was layaning my nonsense. haha).
"doris."
"doris who?"
"doris locked, open up!"
